The actual construction cost to create this masterpiece was $80,000 and that’s in 1996 dollars !!!  No expense was spared to create this one of a kind heavy hitter show car. You will see two sets of photos for the car here. The first is the look of the car upon completion and as seen in the magazine. The rest of the photos are of the car taken recently. To maintain a fresh look and continued interest in the car the following items have been changed and/or updated since its magazine debut. taller Dugan Racing 3.5 inch cowl induction hood, ultra clear projector style headlamps, Ford Racing polished Cobra intake, Pro-M 77 mm, Strut tower brace was removed for cleaner look, polished aluminum valve covers replace the black finned valve covers, Ford Racing red plug wires replace original blue plug wires, tail pipes have been added to the vehicle, windshield decal was removed after magazine photo shoot, The TFS aluminum heads were upgraded to Ford Racing J302 aluminum heads.
The strikingly beautiful Laser Red paint looks as good today as it did in 1996. Although it has never been dynoed, estimated horsepower is 375hp, based on the current combination. This car has a Cadillac quality ride even with the heavily modified suspension. The interior is very luxurious and comfortable. Car has approximately 2500 total miles since completion in 1996! The majority of these miles are from the journey home from Las Vegas to Atlanta. A limited number of the magazines in which the car was featured (cover and inside) are available on request for $25 including priority mail shipping. (Perspective buyers only please).
A full set of the 5 magazines covering the project car build up will be included with the purchase of the car and will be autographed by Tom Dugan if desired.
